Echoary (声屿) respects and protects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your information.
Your memories — text, tags, and original recordings — are stored only on your device by default. Echoary has no account system: you don't need to register or sign in, and our own servers never store the content of your memories.
We only process the voice you actively record and its transcribed text. We do not collect your name, phone number, email, location, contacts, or other personally identifying information, and we do not read other data on your device.
Converting your voice to text is performed by Apple's speech recognition, subject to Apple's privacy policy. Your original recordings are kept locally for your own playback.
When you use "Smart Organize," only your text (the transcribed words) is sent to a third-party AI service to correct recognition errors, restore your intended meaning, and arrange it into a card. Your original recordings are never uploaded. The text is used only to complete that single request and not for any other purpose. If we move to an on-device model in the future, the text will no longer leave your device either.
If you enable iCloud sync, your memories sync and back up across your devices through your own iCloud private database. This data is stored in Apple's iCloud, which we cannot access. You can turn iCloud off at any time in system settings.
Pro subscriptions are handled by the Apple App Store (StoreKit). We never see or store your payment information.
To improve the app, we collect anonymous usage data — such as which features you use, your device model, and your country or region. This data is fully anonymous, contains no personally identifying information, and never includes the content of your memories (text or audio). We use a privacy-focused analytics service and do not use it for advertising.
We don't show ads, we don't do cross-app ad tracking (no IDFA), we don't sell or share your personal data, and we never collect the content of your memories.
You can delete any memory inside the app at any time; you can back up your data to yourself via "Export Memories"; and you can enable App Lock (Face ID) to protect local access. Deleted memories are removed from your device, and if iCloud sync is on, also deleted from your iCloud.
This app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be announced in the app. Continued use means you accept the updated policy.

如果你开启 iCloud 同步，你的回忆会通过你自己的 iCloud 私有数据库在你的设备之间同步与备份。这些数据存放在 Apple 提供的 iCloud 中，我们无法访问。你可以随时在系统设置中关闭 iCloud。
Pro 订阅通过 Apple App Store（StoreKit）处理，我们不会接触或存储你的支付信息。

你可以随时在 App 内删除任意回忆；可以通过「导出回忆」把数据备份到自己手中；还可以开启 App 锁（Face ID）保护本地访问。删除的回忆会从设备移除，若已开启 iCloud 同步，也会从你的 iCloud 同步删除。
本 App 不面向 13 岁以下儿童，我们不会有意收集儿童的个人信息。
我们可能会不时更新本政策。重大变更会在 App 内告知。继续使用即表示你接受更新后的政策。
